- Soto Kudus -


Soto or coto is a common dish, found in many regional variations of Indonesian cuisine. It is a traditional soup mainly composed of broth, meat and vegetables. Soto Kudus is one of them.

Kudus is a regency (Indonesian: kabupaten) in Central Java, province in Indonesia. It is located east of Semarang, capital of Central Java. The city of Kudus was something of an important Islamic holy city in the sixteenth century. It is the only place in Java that has permanently acquired an Arabic name ('al-Quds', Jerusalem).Wikipedia

This is the first time I made Soto Kudus. It's our dinner menu. Hope My beloved hubby will love it…

- Rendang Daging -


Rendang Daging (Beef rendang) is a spicy meat dish which originated from the Minangkabau ethnic group of Indonesia (West Sumatera), and is now commonly served across the country.   
      



Rendang Daging has a unique flavour that is rich in spices. Serve over rice. The authentic Padang rendang took hours to cook (usually four hours), that is why cooking rendang is time-consuming and requires patience. I made it to take camping tomorrow... I love Rendang …
